TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
